This workshop focuses on three specific means of enabling intelligent dynamic spectrum
sharing:
- ORAN-centric strategies that utilize the Open RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) effectively to enable new families of spectrum sharing mechanisms.
- Distributed strategies based on distributed sensing, consensus algorithms, distributedauctions and related domains.
These two means are complimentary and can be used in isolation or in conjunction with each
other. Ultimately, we believe both distributed strategies and ORAN will play a pivotal role in the
development of dynamic spectrum sharing systems of the future.
